Our story

Peaklight Journeys is a small team in Paro that plans private trips across Bhutan: cultural tours through the western valleys, festival trips timed to the tshechu calendar, and treks for people who like long days outdoors.

Each trip is planned by one person from your first message to your last day, and the same guide and driver stay with you the whole way. Prices include hotels, meals, transport, the visa and the Sustainable Development Fee, so there is nothing to add up later.

Plans stay flexible once you arrive: a rainy morning, a village invitation or a festival day you didn’t expect can all change the day, and your guide will adjust it with you.

What we believe

We travel slowly: two or three places a day at most, with time to stop when a farmer waves you in or a monk has a moment to talk. We choose small, family-run hotels near the places you want to see, and guides who grew up in the valleys they show you. What matters to us is simple: you should never feel hurried, and nobody along the way should feel like a stop on a schedule.
